This is the first entry in this blog, or any blog that I have written for that matter. I will not try to get too offensive, political, nor discuss religion in this blog as I do not wish to offend anyone even though it does create some lively discussions. I will just discuss my musing as they pertain to my daily life (whoich is actually pretty boring.)
I went to the mall today, not to buy jeans, but they were on sale so I decided to buy a couple of pair. When I tried on the size that I wore last year, surprise, surprise..... they were too big!!!! When does that ever happen?? I thought that being off my feet this year due to my knee operation would have made me gain some weight, but I guess not. I everyone should should strive for a smaller waist size, if not physically, then egotistically. I am going to try to reduce my waist further this year so that I will be pleasantly surprised again next year.
I actually went to the mall to get some accent pillows that would match my new couch and chair. They are black leather and I was looking for something that was white with a black design on it or black with a white design on it. I found them at the last place I looked (of course.) Everything is always that way.... strange how that works. Anyway, I think they pretty good, as do my new jeans.
I heard an interesting thing recently on clothing sizes. It seems that the fashion houses/manufacturers have altered their sizing methods. Apparently no one is happy with their size. So with that in mind, clothes are now being labled with smaller sizes. Since sizes are not regulated, I guess they can adopt this method. Hum....ponder...ponder....do we need a "Clothling Size Regulatory Commission" lol! Opps, another new little governmment entity for which we will be charged a tax to support. Oh well, so much for a sale on jeans.
ReplyDeleteDo we get a pic of the new pillows on the couch?
